Been working (well, training) for over a month now at KPMG, but I'm still not sure which direction I am headed.. do I really want to be an auditor? Life after school is so complicated~~ The stuff in training isn't that interesting... and the exams comin up are supposed to be really tough *sigh* Just hoping that i will pass! But the bright side is I did meet a bunch of fun ppl at work~ So I guess I'll take it as it goes...

An update of past wk~

Finally visited Krispy Kreme with Jessie and Gillian! Sooooo yummy! I've missed these melt in your mouth fattening little things...used to grab some every time I went up to nyc~ the great thing about the hk store is that they give you an entire donut for free when you're waiting in line! so I never end up buying anything when I'm there.. i wonder how they are making money

Went to Repulse Bay last weekend with Johnny, Dan, and Ron. Our little double date, as johnny likes to call it. haha he's such a dummy. Though the HK beaches aren't that nice.. it was still a lotta fun! Been a while since I last went to the beach in hk. I think it was worth going.. even after such little sleep the night before. Danika and I did a good job waking the boys up. hee hee

This is what Jessie and I do at work. Draw our own version of Disney characters. Jessie and Gillian also sleep in class. and me being me I just HAD to take pics of them HAHAHAHAHA

Dinner with Dan, Carrie, Jason last night at Wasabisabi. It was actually my first time eating there.. the food was alright.. nothing amazing, but the beef wrapped eggplant was pretty cute haha.

KPMG boat trip today~! Was definitely quite fun! The weather was soooo nice!!! The sky was so blue, the sun was out, it was perfect! Got off the boat at Lamma Island for lunch. The lunch was ok.. kinda took too long.. but we got yummy 豆腐花 next door!

Just got home from watching Election! I liked it! Much better than the usual triad movies consisting of little minions having a massacre on the streets of Mong Kok. This one dealt with the upper management of triads. I'm sure the Wharton Management courses would've helped them... they can learn about LEADERSHIP and SYNERGY... HA!

Anyway, bored now with nothing to do, so I decided to update with pictures from the past weekend! It was actually pretty eventful..hehehe with many bundles of funny moments.

~ FRIDAY:

Yoga then dinner with Jamie. Went to Soho Spice again, yummy viet and thai food! While I was waiting for her on Elgin St, I wandered around and ended up in the Agnes b gallery, where a Japanese photographer was launching his exhibition there. It was a collection of photos with people dressed in a black suit wearing square dark rim glasses in various different settings. Pretty weird.. but quite cool! I left with a free blow up doll. HAHA He is now standing outside my door as my bodyguard. See how tall and mighty he looks.. and pay close attention to his hands. HAHAHA PINKY NGIE'S SOUL MATE!!!

~ SATURDAY:

Had yummy brunch with Simone and Caine in Happy Valley, then tried to show Foster and Megumi around busy busy Causeway Bay! Afterwards was dinner at Simone's where we got stuffed with lots of hairy crabs! Thanks for the dinner Simone! Then chilled at APT where me and simone took random pictures to amuse ourselves.

~ SUNDAY:

Went to see my brother off to his school trip, then brunched with parents in Cafe O in Central. Pretty yummy stuff there.. should go relax there more often, perhaps with a book. Then went to yoga, and at night, drove Simone, Foster, and Megumi up to the peak to enjoy the fabulous HK night view. Again, our picture taking became the source of amusement.

The weather in Hong Kong during this time of the year really troubles me. It's supposed to be Fall/Winter fashionwise, but temperaturewise it's still tank top & flip flop season! What are we supposed to wear? I'm in the mood for sweaters and jackets.. or at least long sleeves, but it's 27°C outside! Already mid November, but I really feel odd wearing boots around cuz it's so warm. This is too disturbing.

So... yesterday wasn't THAT bad afterall, cuz I got an offer from KPMG! I know.. it's accounting.. but hopefully the people will be fun? haha The only thing is... the position they offered me starts in Jan, meaning I'll have to scrap all my plans to visit east coast in Jan/Feb, and then also my semester at Tsing Hua in Beijing! What to do what to dooooo? I wonder if they'll let me start in the summer?

I'm bored... still in the office but bosses have left already. I'm just molding here waiting for 6pm yoga class... and then it's dinna with Jamjam at Olive! I feel bad that she surpised me by coming back to HK but then I have like.. no time to spend with her cuz I'm working.. Anyway, there's so much to do with her before she leaves again! We made this whole list the other night. wahhaha gotta plan it out to fit everything.

Today is also our beloved Jacob's 1st birthday! Will take many pictures of the celebration and post later hehehe

Not a very good day at all.

Firstly, decided that I cannot go yoga with Simone tonight after work cuz I have to tutor Jason for his math test tomorrow. Not really complaining, cuz I really really want him to do well tmr! But just change of plans - I guess I'll go yoga on Friday.

Second, my boss didn't like the wedding themes I selected.. so kinda had to re-do them. It didn't really fit with what they were looking for... Oh well! Not that bad, it's fun anyway! I will do better next time!

Third... was walking out of office building to lunch with Simone at Lot 10, but then I FELL DOWN THE STEPS IN FRONT OF BEIRUT!!! So embarrassing.. thankfully like 3 different people offered to help me up/ pick up my stuff.. except the ppl in the restaurant were just staring at me. ahhaha I guess I still need to work on talking on the phone, listening to my nano, looking through my wallet, and holding my bag while walking down stairs in heels. So now I have some cuts on my knees and right elbow and a big bruise on my left shin. I was just annoyed that I might stain my skirt with the blood. rahhhh Haven't been hurt like this since high school maybe.. perhaps PE class. I feel bad for Simone who had to walk all the way to Lot 10 before I told her I couldn't make it... Sorry Simone! And Johnny came over from Cheung Kong to help me clean up even though he had to meet his HKIS friends for lunch! Hehehehe He bought me band-aid and disinfectant solution.. I LOVE U! Sorry for making u late for lunch! The Mannings sales ladies were very nice too..

Haha so that was my lunch time.. and now I'm back at work ~
